My consulting and coaching styles emerge from a commitment to full presence, intentionality, whole-heartedness, integrity, and depth. In the heavy lift of racial equity and justice work, my conviction is to continually humanize the work beyond mere processes and procedures to inform a more integrated collective practice toward lasting and sustainable change. My approach welcomes emergence in following the natural rhythms of any individual, group, or institution and my interest is always building on the strengths & assets already present. I am informed not only by personal identity as a Chicana but by my wide experiences as a leader committed to liberation and change (personal, systemic, and community-level) and all the opportunities and challenges this encompasses. I am greatly informed by healing justice principles, racial equity and justice frameworks, ancestral wisdom, somatic abolitionism, liberatory design, human-design thinking and trauma-based work especially focused on racialized trauma. My engagement spans the nonprofit, faith-based, and philanthropic sectors. Due to the heavy lift and collective nature of this work, I prioritize collaborating and co-creating with other consultants in all my engagements when possible and appropriate.
